I started Little Robin Education because my son was always asking the names of plants and trees and animals in nature, so I started making flashcards for him to use on our daily walks out in nature.

Before I became a mum I gained my PhD in Biology from The University of Cambridge, and then became a secondary school biology teacher because I just loved the teaching I'd done during my time in Cambridge. I always knew I wanted to be a stay at home mum, and so I left my job to be with my boys full time. I missed teaching and when my eldest son showed such an interest in nature, as all children seem to do, I decided to start my own business which would work around my young family. Not quite two years later and Little Robin has grown so much. I have a wonderful community of Facebook and Instagram, a small team of helpers, including my lovely mum who now packs the orders, and best of all I get to see hundreds of photos of your little ones enjoying their cards out in nature!

I make all the cards myself, taking photos of things we see, or I support photographers and artists when I can't get the photos myself.

It was important to me to run an eco-friendly business, so all of the cards are printed on recycled card, the bags are organic cotton and all of my stationery is also printed on recycled card.

I really hope you like what you see here!
